TASTING NOTES
BAKERS 7-YEAR: 107-Proof
Medium-tawny amber colour; floral and spice notes with oatmeal. Creamy caramel flavours and smooth vanilla accents. Long finish with some heat.
BASIL HAYDEN’S: Kentucky Straight Bourbon, 80-Proof
Pale, golden amber colour; delicate, brown sugar and honey aroma with roasted nut and spice accents; soft and smooth entry, brown sugar notes, spice and tea; medium-smooth finish.
BULLEIT: 80-Proof Frontier Whiskey. It is oaky on the nose and medium bodied. A little bit of spice to taste along with apple and orange peel. A touch of heat on the close.
BUFFALO TRACE: Kentucky Straight Bourbon 90-Proof “Big, moody, uncompromising beyond belief”
Nose: Satisfyingly deep, gentle vanilla-ed and molasses with even a sprig of sweet mint.
Palate: A rip-roaring waxy sweetness checked by a big build up of vanilla-rich oak
CORNER CREEK: 88-Proof “Rounded & elegant, this is a very refined style”
Hedonistic sweet wood, smoke and charred barrel aromas. A very smooth attack leads to a medium-bodied palate.

JACK DANIELS OLD No.7: 90-Proof
Medium-bodied with burnt grain, caramel & charcoal aromas. Sweetness up front followed by nuttiness, vanilla and smoked grain.
KNOB CREEK 9-YEAR: Kentucky Straight Bourbon, 100-Proof “A bourbon of reckoning”

Fruity aroma with spice, vanilla and nutmeg notes. Dark, sharp flavour with a syrupy undertone.
MAKERS MARK: 90-Proof
A boutique bourbon. Although its status could be ensured by the small scale of its production, the fact is that this whiskey also has the greatest finesse of any bourbon, despite its medium-to-full body.

A complex, well balanced nose with dry, peppery notes and a rich honey-vanilla sweetness. Medium bodied with notes of toffee, vanilla and rich oakiness. A well-crafted Bourbon with a balance that’s hard to beat.

Nose: complex & dry. Honeyed backdrop
Palate: Spices at the forefront and fruiter, sweet backdrops.

Nut brown colour. forward, dried fruit and spice aroma with subtle honeyed back notes; big chewy flavours, caramel and smoky notes; powerful persistent finish.
WOODFORD KENTUCKY DERBY: Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey “Official Bourbon of the Kentucky Derby”
Nose: Restrained black chocolate, cigar boxes, hint of charcoal.
Palate: Very firm. Full of flavours, tightly combined: whole almonds, marzipan, root ginger. A touch of fresh oak and some charcoal. Very long finish.

Sweet, maple-fresh aroma. Light, fruity taste with no burn. Silky warm finish.
